Mars Cinema

Project Overview

This project is my second UX design project for the Google UX Design Professional Certificate program. Throughout the design process, I focused on understanding the key features of a cinema website and a typical ticket ordering flow. The target audiences for this website are individuals who need an online ticket booking platform for a movie theatre, due to their busy schedule, for themselves and their friends or families.

The biggest challenge in this project is to create a seamless ticket ordering flow, which involves multiple details such as selecting the time and seats, dealing with different price conditions, ordering snacks and drinks, and selecting payment methods.

Design a user-friendly interface website for the Mars cinema that offers clear navigation and a fast checkout process for ticket ordering.

Takeaways

I have come to realize that even a minor design change can significantly impact the user experience. My main takeaway from this experience is to always prioritize the genuine needs of the user when developing design ideas and solutions.
